it was really a great 5 days we had. But like pastor Kong says, once we have more of God what would we do? Many of us had sacrifice our times, our effort just to queue, just to attend the services. Yet, the reason why we do it is very clear: for God.

Surely the Message is scared, but the Method is not.

The times that we shared in this Asia Conference, let's not forget it. But take it as a stepping stone to help each other grow. N349, its time to step out into that 2nd Space -- equipped & with boldness, to start change it.

It starts from Me.

Venue: Jurong Junior College.

And, the best part is that we will be sleeping in an air-con room! Good eh? So what you waiting for? Start packing your items now!

Understanding God's Love (:

QUESTION: how much do you understand God's love for you?

Okay, usually when Pastor say,
"And He died on the cross. That was how much he loved you"
So, is our understanding of God's love only really like that?
is God's love really that shallow?
NOPE (:

At the last supper, peter said he loved Jesus with all his might (after jesus said someone was going to betray him). And Jesus knowing what will happen, said he'll deny Him 3 times. So it's like this: peter thought he loved Him with all his might because there was no trials then. When Jesus was going to the cross, he denied Him. Why? because he doesnt understand the depth of God's love then. Because Peter was the "see to believe" type then. when his "see"(Jesus) was gone, and was going to die, his fatih suddenly shatter and it was gone. Thus he denied Him 3 times.

Now, you must be asking what does it have to do with the question posted.

Well, if we really understand God's love in depth and not the simple "oh-He-died-on-the-cross-therefore-He-loved-me" kind of thinking, no matter what trials we go through, our faith will not shatter because we really know HOW MUCH HE LOVED US (: We'll Stay firm. So dont let any trials murder you of your destiny! because His love is really beyond our imagination!

Anyway, i hope this encourages you out there and send you thinking "really HOW MUCH He really loves us" (:

One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.' Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through hi s thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair ?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will he lp some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD ! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't al lowed. Well, you know what Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him ?' 'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool ? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery ! How about that ?

hey guys..its been long since i shared my relevations..anyway, as u all know that we are in the midst of our Building fund...i would like to share about this great belssing i received from the Lord!!:) last weekend..during the service where DR.John Avanzini preched..i have left not much on my wallet..and i was troubled as i could not put in money into the envolope for my tithes and building fund..i was constantly thinking about this matter throughout the whole service...when it was time for offering, to be honest..i was really very worried..many thoughts went through my mind..i took out my wallet n conunted that i have very little left...i took out all my coins n dumped it into the envolope. it was only a few dollars..there's still a $5 note in my wallet for my dinner..i closed the envolope n wait for the bucket..but at that moment..i remembered wat pastor Aries said about him emptying all the contents in his wallet n the next day received a deal from a large company. i prayed to God and asked Him...Praise the Lord..the Holy Spirit prompted me to empty all my contents in my wallet into the envolope..i obeyed and decided i could do without dinner that night.so i put in the $5 dollar note as well n thought of nothing else..

The very next day...my mum brought me out for lunch...i Thanked God for that..n i thought that was all for me...But after that. my aunt called me and said that she has a fridge for us..a brand new mini fridge...i was like...whoa!!here's the exciting part..(haha...:) ) i saw that there's a plastic bag n contained chocolates..but wat caught my eye was that there's a $50 dollar note inside!!! i was shocked!!!

i would really like to say that our God is always faithful in giving us blessings..at times when we are really having difficulties..we should not forget that God is always there for us...He will never forget about us and the needs we have...so friends...i believe that God is always doing things that we cannot see..as long as we remember to pray n seek His kingdom first..we shall receive His blessings...:)

but in the 2nd stanza, may i add, let not it be hate that is deep and undying, but be it your faith which is deep! Because truly it is a test from God!! overcome with your good faith. :)

the words of love through encouragement

hey guyz.
juz here to share alittle sth with u guyz.

time and time again we tend to forget dat day by day we ourselves need encouragement by fwens, family or even yurself.
we often neglect the simplest encouragement of even saying "thanks for being a fwen" or even " God is with you always" in our daily lives as we tok to all walks of ppl.
may it be in church, in sch or juz outside while hanging out wib yur fwens.
a small encouragement at times will really help someone even when u dont noe dat the person is in the need or not.
juz one simple word of "thank you" or "Jia you" can also help encourage a person in a need of encouragement.
do not negelect the small encouragements yur fwens gib to u or tink dat yur encouragments are not encouraging to others but understand dat even when u feel dat yur fwen may not be encouraged, yur fwen may have been impacted instead.
tell someone how much u appreciate them, encourage them by telling them dat there is always someone hu's helping them.
let them noe dat a person like u will always be there to support them and dat even through times of stress, difficulty or even depression, God will always be with them.
every encouragement go's a long mile even if u noe it or not or even if the person themselves noe it or not.
continue to encourage yur fwens, family even yurself to carry on.
yur words of encouragement can be a way for u to spread the love of God through encouraging yur fwens and family.
try and encourage someone everyday.
u may in the end encourage yurself and live a much fruitful life.

hope this words are meaningful to u guyz!!
u guyz are the best and shine for God!!
lets rise up and glorify God!!

HELLO EVERYBODY :D

Recently, I've been reading THE PENNY by Joyce Meyer and Deborah Bedford.
It is a very amazing book that i'm very sure will touch your heart.
It talks about walking out of a life of guilt and shame with the help of the people around you,
and also on how little things that may never caught our eyes, will be the thing that may change one's life forever.

As this story is set in the era where there is discrimination between the whites and blacks, where whites can only befriend the whites, and blacks with the blacks, and all it takes is that one girl to befriend a black that eventually leads her to Christ. She didn't think that it would change her because at that moment all she knew is that she had to listen to God.

And God began to help her in many ways, through many people.
Like many a times when we felt helpless and all alone, we cried out to God,
When it seems that God didn't answer your prayer, actually He did, through the people around you!

Also this book seems to be emphasising that Obedience is the key in our walk with God. and how true that is, when we began to obey God and do what He wants us to do, we will be able to find our life so blessed, don't you think so.

and what got my heart is actually this phrase,
''God doesn't always make something go away because we pray, when we pray, He often gives us the strength to stand up to it.''

Also this book, talks about forgiveness. Forgiveness even though somebody hurt us badly, because forgiveness is the way to melt bitterness away :D

Haha eventually, i beseech you to get this book because it is a great book, of course, i'll more than willing to lend anyone that ask. :DDD

hey there guyz!!
here's sth i heard from a fwen and i felt it's worth sharing with everyone. (it's a true story)

a fwen was having a hard time copping with the things in sch and family.
he was having fights at home with the family members.feeling rejected by the whole family he would always run out of the hse and stay out the whole nite wondering around.this happened time and time again.to make matters worse his grades were dropping.this was bad cause he was in sec 4.being a loner in sch noe one dared to tok to him or go near to him afraid of being beaten up by him.he walked in sch alone everyday trying to look for a corner to hide.he felt that he went into darkness and no one was able to help him. until one day after having another fight with his family he ran out of the hse.he found a place at a near by block and sat there.a classmate of him walkby and saw him.she saw him many times crying there after he fought with his family.but didn't dare to go and comfort him.but dis time she walked towards him and asked him wad was wrong.this was the first time anyone have tok to him in this way.feeling unsafe he juz sat there and kept silent.she sat down and try to tok to him.in the end he told her to go away and not care about him.feeling that he needed a time out she went back but gave him the advice that no matter if he feels that noe wan is there to help him, there will still be someone to support him.he was left with a deep thought.the next day, she went up to him and toked to him again.this time he didn't push her away instead he toked to her.this went on for a few weeks.his classmates saw a change in him and he got many fwens after that.all because of a classmate hu was willing to give her time and effort into someone hu rejected her offer of help.

It's been getting abit cold around here arh. let's continue to blog about our revelations and testimonies guys! :)
and i was looking at this website, where people post their stories to encourage others. i thought that this was a story that has encouraged me. :D

Helping Another in Need

My parents always raised me to have strong values and hold firm to my convictions in life, and this was never more exemplified than when a situation arose when it would be easy for most people to ignore it.
A gentleman at my father's work began to come into work smelling continually of body odor and personal neglect, and as the months went by, showed signs of confusion. After being told to pick up papers at another building, he would be found sitting at his desk staring at his shoes; after being reminded (to which he would completely believe he hadn't been told the first time), he would be found once again sitting at his desk in the same position. This happened to worsening degrees over a few months and his coworkers either ignored it or were ignorant to this due to a lack of social interaction with the man.
My father began to mentally record all of this and finally sat down with him one day when he was found two hours after work was out, sitting in his car, looking like he didn't know where to go.
Apparently the gentleman was in the beginning/middle stages of Alzheimer’s and was being financially taken advantage of by his children, who used his forgetfulness as a reason to ask him for money every few days. My father took this man to a hospital (for the first time in years) to be properly assessed, then worked with the county to get a caretaker to watch over his condition. He then went to the man's house and helped him sort out all of his financial matters and get his retirement set up; they went to the bank and had a government worker ensure that his bills would be paid for and his children would no longer get to treat him like a personal ATM.
That my father took this much personal time to help another man that so many had forgotten or would choose to neglect, or even make fun of, truly shows his character. Thanks to him, this man can now live securely and be taken care of in a frightening time.

after reading this i thought. WHOA. what a great man the father actually is. he helped the man who could have made his business incur loss, brought him to a hospital to get his sickness checked out. went over and beyond to sort his finances.
doing so much for a person i don't think he really knows very well. much more if I were him, i think i would have fired him, because his making my company lose money. haha.
at the end of the day, would you be willing to help someone with what you have, to help him with what he does not have? do not be afraid to show tenderness, it is not a weakness. its a STRENGTH.

woah!! finally, I'm here to post (:

I just feel that it had been a great time for the past few weeks, from physical healing, to inner healing to Festival of Praise!! all these great events indeed had pumped us up but I hope that the fire will not die down and I will be praying that we'll continue to go into our marketplace and shine for the Lord!

after Pst Kong gave a word of prophecy, God began to speak to me. Indeed there will be a huge harvest that's coming in, but if you don't work for your harvest, it'll never come! God would be more than willing to bless us, but the thing is that are you willing to work for the desired harvest? He will not drop these blessings straight on to your lap, but He'll put it somewhere where it's within your reach! all you have to do is just strech out your hand in faith and claim it. there ought to be work done (:

and during FOP, i'm so encourage by the song that goes something like... 'when the oceans rise and thunders soar, I'll soar with You above the storms, Father You are King over the floods, I'LL BE STILL (AND) KNOW YOU ARE GOD..' the Holy Spirit reminded me that even though the problems that you're facing are really overwheamling, seek first the Kingdom of God, pray! for the Bible says 'those who are worried, let them pray'. don't be too worried that Jesus lose His priority in your life! cast all your problems unto Him, for He cares! :DD

Hey guys!
Great that we are all so on fire for Christ!
Throughout the days I pondered about what I should do in my christian walk, just like all you guys did. Boy o boy i spent a jolly good time thinking about all the sermons, listening to great christian music. While all that seemed pretty holy, I felt that God would rather me kickstart a good spiritual habit of connecting with God, just like what Pastor .Phil said.So I did what all of you guys did.:) I started to focus in on God. it was great! You should try it :) It was then I felt the Lord encouraging me throughout the week and though things were tough in practically every area of my life,God's grace and mercy pulled me through. Even in the recent Biology test! Though I didn't have much time to study, God multiplied my time!

Though this testmony might be rather small in comparison to a 100 fold return from you precious offering, I really hope that this would be an encouragement to you. indeed I an do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Oh yeah. I love you guys and I am honoured to have the opportunity to fellowship with you guys.

Jesus loves you, and I most definitely love you too :)

hey guys...thanks for the present once again..i really love it..i feel so blessed....ok...today's service was great..i really enjoyed myself n really felt the presence of God amongst us....espeically during the ministry....

what i really felt during the ministry was that inside all Man...are demons and evil spirits...all of us will sin..none of us are perfect...but our Lord Jesus Christ came to Earth to save us..to cleanse us of all our sins and shame...He came from heaven to earth...to die for our sake...to forgive us for our sins and all the bad things that we did....when the first altar call was called...i began to feel that the Holy Spirit was moving to and fro...between us...waiting for us to take a step out...so that He can come into us n force out all demons and evil spirits...

when i saw peolple falling down to the floor...screaming and shouting...and finally calmed down...i really felt very happy...because i knew that they were being saved..being delivered by the Holy Spirit....i responded to the second altar call...when the ministry leaders were praying for me...i really felt this strong heat coming out...my face was burning..i was sweating like crazy...i began to cough..and really felt like vomitting...my stomach hurt alot...i was very uncomfortable..but after that...i felt very realxed...as if a huge rock was lifted from my heart..i knew i was delivered...i started to pray...and thanking God for everything...i prayed for other people...

thus people...we must believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is truely a Good God n a powerful God...we must continue to pray n fast...so that we may go up to another level...a higher level spiritually...

that's all for me...let's us continue to pray and talk to God...Praise Him!!!:)

Deliver Us

WHOA! great deliverance svc we had. its back to basics as pastor mike connell preached about the 4Rs... repent, renounce, release and resist. must say it reminded me of sermons on salvation pastor kong preached b4. really glad that all of you today responded~ all smiles after the casting out of the unclean. felt touched as i saw many who teared as they felt the love, power and rain of God pouring over them as they were healed of their inner wounds. one more thing is that my revelation of the day is that, for everything that comes your way.... RECEIVE with an open heart.. be it spiritual things, discipleship, healing, laying on of hands etc. even things of the world as well, family problem, discontent with your classmates or whatsoever. IMPORTANT thing is what we do with God to solve the issue, from last week's sermon.. PRAY, GIVE, FAST. thats bout it... plan to have miny cg outing next week to watch the simpsons! those interested please do leave me a msge.

Indeed a day in the Lord's court is better than a thousand days elsewhere.
I'm very very blessed by the Sermon on the Mount and it seems that every word preached came in the right time. Especially the prophecy on Saturday, I know it will come to pass.
On friday's cg, i' was also tremendously blessed, by the koreans and by the word.
Really a life of godliness is what we must really persue and live.
and for that we have to TRUST the Lord.
Interacting with the Koreans were fun too.
You can really see their passion for Christ.
Saturday and Sunday's msg were powerful, many a times, it mentioned that we really have outstrip the pharisees and heathens. Because authentic genuine christians does more than just showing off for their own glory, and it is the give God all the glory ever.
and also in order to grow, We must give, pray and fast as according to the book of Matthew.

My revelation for the whole week is really to trust in the Lord in everything that we do or encounter. No matter rain or shine, the Lord is always there for you. and also it is in times of trials and tribulations that we really seek God the most. And because things may be too much to handle, we must really trust in the Lord.

hi friends!! :D

really felt that today's service is very very.. GOOD.
like the presence of God was really strong just now
especially when pastor sang the song.

actually i wanna share like God spoke to me about ''comfort zone''
i feel like many times.. when we pray..
we tend to feel tired and thus not focused..
let's not be like that.
as we pray, lets also pray that He'll take us deeper into His presence
and also take away any of our distractions and weariness.

just now pastor was sharing that when he was younger,
he prayed until soooo late at night. and he said it was WONDERFUL.
i was so touched by that fact and also i was like thinking '' wouldn't he feel tired?''and so, compared to him, i'm totally not passionate at all.

i feel we should be like him, loving the presence of God soooo much
let's not make God wait in the secret place so long to find us praying to Him for only a few minutes. He had waited so long and the least we can do is communicate with Him longer.

i remember pastor preached about praying before
he said that when we pray, let's not pray to Him asking Him to meet all our need then straightaway go to sleep. God may have something to say to us, and by doing that, we are like shutting God away and not let Him speak. Instead, let's wait on Him longer. let's be the ones after God's own heart. :)

and also, all of us want a breakthrough.
no matter in our cell group, our financial needs, our studies or our spirit
all of us must step out of our comfort zone..
like when we reach out, let's not just do what everyone else can.
let's sacrifice some time to our friends. make them feel loved
and make them feel we genuinely care for them.

and for the people who're taking major exams. like me.
i feel like some of us may still be feeling restless and slacking around.
when God spoke to me about comfort zone, i felt like.. God wants to bless us.
but when we do not even put in effort, how then can we even get good results?

same towards our finance.
let's be sensitive towards Him when He tells us an amount to give.
an amount that means something to us. if that amount doesnt mean anything to us, how will that amount touch God.

i know this is like soooooo long.
but last i just wanna say let's not be so engrossed that we end up studying, serving that we forget to put God first. but instead, we should put Him FIRST in everything we do.

Praise The Lord For All His Creation!

Hi N349. Just wanna share, that God indeed places everyone around you for a reason(s). And i really thank God for each and every single one of them that God has put in my life. I was feeling this past few days that things are what they are cos of what God has done through my friends, members, leaders are doing that impacts me, and bringing me to the next level. And to see that everyone is running together, on the same path, some occasionally running away, some running slower, some losing their direction, is what cell group is all about.

In Acts 17:24-28, Paul says:"God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is the Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in the temples made with hands. Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all thing. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determine their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they shall seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far away from us...."

hi guys!

a new blog for our cell group:) yayness!
well. today's service was impactful isn't it?

although today's sermon pretty short
but i thought there was a lot of understanding being preached
so let's pray when we don't know what we can do, until something happens.
thank God for the miracles that happened! :)

and i feel that we be sensitive towards the Holy Spirit
and also to the need of the people around us.
that includes the friends we're reaching out to:)
so let's go all the way out for the Lord!
